The Ram truck models we sell include the Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500. The Ram 1500 is a great light-duty option for those who occasionally need to tow or have relatively lighter items, while the 2500 and 3500 are more heavy-duty options that show off some extra power. Their maximum towing and payload capacities when properly equipped are outlined in the table below.

Each model has various engine options with a range of horsepower (HP) and torque metrics. You may be surprised to learn that the Ram 1500 has an available Supercharged 6.2L HEMI® V8 engine that produces the most horsepower of the three trucks, coming in at 702 HP.

The engine options on the 2500 and 3500, however, offer much more in the way of torque. The Ram 2500’s available 6.7L engine gets up to 850 lb-ft, while the Ram 3500’s available diesel engine can produce up to 1,075 lb-ft.

There is also an assortment of bed and cab styles. On the Ram 2500 and 3500, you’ll find the following:

• Bed Sizes: 6.4-foot or 8-foot
• Cab Styles: Regular Cab, Crew Cab, or Mega Cab

The Ram 1500, on the other hand, offers the following:

• Bed Sizes: 5.7-foot or 6.4-foot
• Cab Styles: Quad Cab or Crew Cab

Ram Cargo Vans for Sale

Just as you can tow or haul heavy items, so too can you store them in a cargo van for easy transportation. The Ram ProMaster and ProMaster City come in many versatile styles to fit what you need.

The ProMaster has a bit more strength, coming standard with a V6 engine that produces up to 280 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The ProMaster City, conversely, has a standard 4-cylinder engine that gets up to 178 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque.

Towing and payload will also be different between the two, getting you the following maximum capacities:

• ProMaster (towing/payload): 6,910 pounds / 4,680 pounds
• ProMaster City (towing/payload): 2,000 pounds / 1,900 pounds
