Jeep Wrangler Engine Options

  • 2.0L Turbocharged Base Engine
  • 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 Engine
  • 3.6L V6 Pentastar® with ETorque
  • 3.6L V6 Pentastar® with ESS

The Jeep Wrangler offers four dependable engines. The 2.0L turbocharged base engine offers a fun drive with 270 horsepower, while the available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 can help you tackle tough terrain with 442 lb-ft of torque. There’s also a pair of 3.6L V6 Pentastar® powertrains. Both of them can get up to 285 horsepower, but one is available with an eTorque mild-hybrid system option. This lets you drive further with an EPA-estimated 19 MPG city and 24 MPG highway.

All four engines can tow up to 3,500 pounds, too. That’s enough power to bring a trailer or some recreational vehicles along for the ride.

Jeep Wrangler Capability

Every Jeep Wrangler is Trail Rated®, so you can count on it to get you up, over, and through anything that stands in your way. To help you do that, there are three 4×4 systems to choose from. Each one offers traction and stability when you need it most.

It’s also ready for rugged roads. With steel skid plates and a 10.8-inch ground clearance, you’ll be able to drive over everything from big potholes to rocky trails.

Jeep Wrangler Interior

There are a couple ways you can hop in the Jeep Wrangler. For starters, it’s available with two doors or four. If you really want to open things up, you can take the doors off the hinges and feel the breeze while you drive. You can also let some natural light in by removing the roof, too.

Inside you’ll find plenty of room to stretch out. There’s 41.2 inches of legroom in both models, plus comfortable amenities heated front seats and Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control.

On top of offering a comfortable drive, the Wrangler’s cabin is also quite stylish. Cloth seats come standard, but leather seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel are also available. It also offers a sleek, modern feel with a large touchscreen in the dashboard.

Jeep Wrangler Technology

On that touchscreen you’ll find lots of useful features. For example, if you’re trying to line up with your trailer or back into a parking spot, you can use the ParkView® Rear Back-Up Camera to see what’s behind you.

When you’re not using it to see more, you’ll be able to sync your smartphone. With Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™, you can stream music, safely make hands-free calls, and use your apps while you drive. It even offers a navigation system that can help you find the fastest way home, no matter how far you’ve driven off the beaten path.
