The Jeep Gladiator features the toughness of a Jeep with the capability of a pickup truck. It’s designed to carry lots of cargo and get you up and over anything that lies in your way. Is it the right choice for you, though?
Harper CDJR can help you decide. To help drivers in the Uniontown, Brownsville, Connellsville, and Greensburg, PA areas learn more about it, we put together a series of Jeep Gladiator reviews.
The Jeep Gladiator runs on an exciting 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine. It uses its 285 horsepower to help you climb steep hills, rugged trails, and tow a trailer. With that much power under the hood, the Gladiator offers best-in-class towing and payload capabilities.
Whether there’s a blizzard in the forecast or you’re planning on doing some off-roading, the Jeep Gladiator will come through for you. It offers two 4×4 systems and both front and rear Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials.
To be prepared for even tough terrain, you can also add an electronic disconnecting sway bar, a transfer case, rock rails, and high-performance FOX® shocks. Plus, with its high-ground clearance you can take on everything from mountains to streams. The Jeep Gladiator can drive through up to 30 inches of water and offers a 43.4-degree approach angle.
The Jeep Gladiator gives you lots of space inside. Whether you’re interested in cloth or leather seats, you’ll be able to kick back and relax. There’s seating for five with 41.2 inches of legroom behind the wheel. Your passengers will also be able to stretch out with a best-in-class 38.3 inches of legroom in the back seat.
Just like the drivetrain, the cabin is ready for anything. It offers a weatherproof push-button start, removable weather-resistant floor mats, and built-in drainpipes. On top of being able to wash it out, you can also open the Gladiator up by removing the doors or the roof.
If you’re off the beaten path or stuck in a traffic jam, the Jeep Gladiator can help you find your way home. It offers a navigation system that features turn-by-turn directions and detailed maps of your route.
You’ll find both the navigation system and your smartphone-compatible features on a touchscreen in the dashboard. Both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come standard, so you can stream music and use your apps while you drive, too.
In addition to its traction and stability, the Jeep Gladiator keeps you safe with some smart driver-assistance features. For example, you’ll know when it’s safe to change lanes with the available Blind Spot Monitoring. To watch out for what’s in front of you, there’s also a Forward Collision Warning. Plus, with the ParkView® Rear Back-Up Camera, you’ll be able to see what’s behind you when you’re backing up.
